Haryana/Hisar: Rotary Club of Tri City Panchkula's first foundation day celebration concluded at the local hotel Pallavi Grand.
Club President Rotarian Dinesh Bansal said that a new club has been formed in Panchkula recently. Its first program was today.
Dinesh Bansal said that in this program, IPS P Abhinandan from Chandigarh was the chief guest and District Governor Elect of Rotary Club of District 3080 Dr. Rita Kalra, Assistant District Governor Mukesh Agarwal were specially present as guests of honor and pinned membership pins on the members of Rotary Club and handed over the charge to the officials.
In which Secretary Satish Mangala, Treasurer Pawan Bansal, Vice President Dinesh Gupta, Hemant Jindal, besides Ashok Agarwal have been appointed as Sergeant Arms, Amarjit Singh as Joint Secretary, Sirish Soni as well as Yuvraj Goyal, Pawan Kumar Bansal, Kuldeep Gupta, Dharampal Singla, Karan Kumar Garg and Raman Singla as Directors.
Chief Guest IPS P. Abhinandan said that organizations like Rotary Club should come forward in the society and help the police in preventing crime because by making people aware through these organizations, public participation will also be involved along with the police.
He focused on digital crimes like cyber arrest. He said that if any phone call comes in this way, there is no need to panic. Immediately contact your nearest police station and register your complaint. Police never makes digital arrests. People should be aware to avoid such frauds.
Guest of Honor of the program Dr. Rita Kalra described the working area of the Rotary Club in her address. He informed the people present about how Rotary Club works from international to local level. He said that Rotary Club has played an important role in making India polio free.
