
Mamta Rani secured first position in the district karate competition in the under 50 kg weight category.
21 February Hoshiarpur- Mamta Rani, a student of class 10th in Government Senior Secondary School Ajanoha, brought laurels to her school by securing first position in the under 50 kg weight category in the district level karate competition organized under Rani Laxmi Bai Atma Raksha Yojana.

On this occasion, Mamta Rani was honored by the district with a gold medal and a cash prize of Rs. 1000 for securing first position in the competition. The students of Ajanoha School performed brilliantly in the Kot Fatuhi block level competitions organized before the district karate competition, in which Komal Devi secured first position in the under 45 kg weight category, Mamta Rani secured first position in the under 50 kg weight category, Anjana secured first position in the over 45 kg weight category and Harpreet Kaur secured second position in the over 50 kg weight category, bringing laurels to the school.
