Garhshankar, September 28 – The student athletes of SBS Model High School Sadarpur participated in sports like athletics, khokho and volleyball etc. held in Garshankar block and the students won 17 gold 12 silver and 8 bronze medals in the block.
Similarly, in the Kho-Kho Under 17 (Girls) Games of Watan Punjab, Vidharthana won the bronze medal by securing the third position at the district level. Manasimran Kaur of class X won gold in long jump and silver medal in 100 meters. And Pankaj Parashar, Class X won the gold medal in the high jump and won the school. Along with this, these students will now represent the school and the district at the state level.
Vidharthia of VBS Model High School, Sadarpur, bagged the Bronze Medal in Badminton with a brilliant performance at the CBSE Cluster Dhadazzz, hosted by Madhuvan Vatika Public School. Student players:- Innocent Gill, Amrita, Navpreet and Palvi Joshi participated in the under 19 category and won the third position and brought glory to the school.
While congratulating the students for this achievement, the Managing Director of the school Mrs. Surinder Kaur Bains and the Principal Mrs. Jaspreet Kaur explained the importance of sports and said that it helps in the overall development of students and develops the spirit of sportsmanship in them. He congratulated the coaches Sandeep Kumar, Lakhwinder Singh and Kulveer Kaur as well as all the staff members, students and parents for this success and encouraged the students to do better in future.
