Ghanaur, August 6- Patiala District Administration has appealed to the residents of some villages near Ghaggar in Ghaggar constituency and Rajpura to be careful due to heavy rains in the catchment area of Ghaggar river during the rainy season.
Giving information in this regard, SDM Rajpura Mr. Avikesh Gupta said that the residents of villages Untsar, Nanheri, Sanjarpur, Lachhru, Kamalpur, Rampur, Saunta, Maru and Chamaru of Ghanaur constituency and nearby areas have been asked to be careful and not to go near Ghaggar.
Meanwhile, according to SDM of Dudhan Sadhan Mr. Kirpalveer Singh, the residents of villages Bhasmra and Jalahkheri have also been asked to be careful. Meanwhile, according to Patiala Sub-Division SDM Mrs. Harjot Kaur Mavi, residents of villages Hadana and Sirkapra etc. have also been appealed to remain alert.
