Patiala, February 5- Deputy Commissioner of Patiala, Dr. Preeti Yadav reviewed the preparations for the Flower and Food Festival and 'Eat Right Millet Mela and Walkathon' to be held on February 13 at Barandari Bagh during the Patiala Heritage Fair.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the Patiala Heritage Fair will start from Barandari Bagh and on this day stalls of street food and delicious dishes of Patiala will also be set up in the Heritage Food Festival and 'Eat Right Millet Mela and Walkathon' will also be organized by the Food Safety and Drug Administration, Punjab (FDA) under the leadership of the District Administration.
During this, Dr. Preeti Yadav also inspected Barandari Bagh and directed the Horticulture Department to take immediate action to enhance the beauty of this ancient and heritage Barandari Bagh and improve it.
The deputy commissioner also said that besides replacing the old dried up plants with new ones of the same variety, security guards should also be deployed in the Barandari Garden to prevent the entry of anti-social elements.
