Garhshankar 03 February - Under the campaign launched against drug smugglers by District Police Chief Surendra Lamba (SSP), under the leadership of Sarabjit Singh Bahia SPD Hoshiarpur, Jaspreet Singh Deputy Superintendent of Police Sub Division Garhshankar, under the supervision of Inspector Rajinder Singh Chief Officer Police Station Garhshankar, Inspector Kuldeep Singh Police Station Garhshankar, during patrolling and checking with police party, a woman Sarabjit Kaur alias Preeti wife Sorav resident Denowal Khurd, Police Station Garhshankar, District Hoshiarpur was arrested from T-Point Denowal Khurd and 108 grams of narcotics were recovered from her.
A case was registered in Police Station Garhshankar under various sections of the Narcotics Control Act. The arrested Mahal will be produced in the court and police remand will be obtained so that further in-depth investigation can be done about where the accused buys this narcotic substance from and to whom she sells it.
