Garhshankar 03 February- Former Sarpanch of village Harma Beet and Block President of Aam Aadmi Party Veer Singh Rana while talking to journalists said that allegations are being made on the newly elected Panchayats, but the Secretary is reluctant to give charge to our village Panchayat.
Veer Singh told that the Secretary posted in the BDPO office of Block Garhshankar is also looking after the work of village Harma. I called him to hand over the charge of the new Gram Panchayat but the Panchayat Secretary has no information about it. Why is he doing this to give charge by gathering all the villagers together.
Veer Singh said that last week the Secretary had tried to give charge by going to the house of the newly elected Sarpanch, but the Panchayat members protested and said that we will take charge by holding a meeting of all the villagers together.
Veer Singh Rana said that despite me saying that I am the block president of Aam Aadmi Party, the secretary is not giving charge to the people, he said that the Panchayat Secretary not giving charge in the general meeting and village assembly, it seems that there is something fishy or the dal itself is fishy. Veer Singh Rana has demanded from the Punjab government and Deputy Speaker Jai Krishna Singh Rori that our Panchayat should be given charge soon so that the village can develop.
