Chandigarh, June 19- President of Chandigarh Nambardar Union, Union Territory of Chandigarh, Rajinder Singh Badheri met Home Secretary, Chandigarh, Mandeep Singh Brar and Finance Secretary, Shri Diwakar Lakra on the issue of pending demands of Nambardars for the last many years, including increase in honorarium on the lines of Punjab and non-payment of honorarium for the last ten years.
Shri Badheri informed that the Home Secretary took action on the spot to expedite the process to meet the demands immediately. He further said that the Finance Secretary listened to them with full attention and assured that the work will be completed soon.
