Nawanshahr June 19- Nirman Mistri Mazdoor Union filled the forms for registration of workers engaged in construction work in village Mai Dita. This work was done under the leadership of Nirmal Singh Jandi, Vice President of Indian Federation of Trade Unions (IFTU) District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.
On this occasion, Nirmal Singh Jandi said that after registration, financial assistance is provided under various schemes by Punjab Building and Other Construction Welfare Board for the welfare of the beneficiaries and their families.
These schemes include scholarship scheme for the children of workers, ex-gratia scheme, shagun scheme for the marriage of girls, scheme for treatment of diseases etc.
This amount comes directly to the bank accounts of the workers. Nirman Mistri Mazdoor Union is filling the forms in various villages and cities for the registration of workers.
