DBU organises special session on “Careers and Opportunities in Australia”

Mandi Gobindgarh, January 11- Desh Bhagat University organised an informative session on “Careers and Opportunities in Australia” which was attended by more than 200 students from various healthcare programmes including BSc Nursing GNM, ANM, BSc Nursing and allied healthcare subjects. Director Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College and Hospital Dr Kulbhushan Sharma and other faculty members were present on the occasion.

Director Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College and Hospital Dr Kulbhushan Sharma and other faculty members were present on the occasion.
In his welcome address, Vice President of Desh Bhagat University Dr Harsh Sadavarti emphasised the importance of enhancing skills through emerging certifications in healthcare and highlighted the role of research in Artificial Intelligence (AI) in transforming the healthcare sector. He encouraged the students to consider global opportunities but also to develop their own careers with the knowledge and skills provided by institutes like ACTUS Training Institute, Australia. He emphasised the need to equip them with the knowledge and skills required to make them more proficient in healthcare.
He thanked Dr. Sumit Sharma, Global Engagement Consultant, ACTUS for this informative session and expressed DBU's intention to offer twinning and pathway programs in collaboration with ACTUS, which will give students the opportunity to study in both India and Australia. Dr. Harsh also informed that Desh Bhagat University is planning to include ACTUS certifications in its GNM, ANM and other healthcare programs, which will provide world-class training to the students and provide excellent employment opportunities in India and abroad.
During the session, Dr. Sumit Sharma explained in detail about the certifications offered by ACTUS and the high demand for skilled healthcare professionals in Australia. The session received an overwhelming response from the students.
