Deputy Commissioner gave instructions to complete the preparations and arrangements of Republic Day on time

Hoshiarpur- Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal today gave instructions to the officers of the concerned departments regarding the preparations and arrangements for the district level Republic Day to be celebrated at the local police line on January 26 on the occasion of 76th Republic Day.

During the meeting held in the district administrative complex regarding the preparations for Republic Day, Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal called upon the officers and concerned employees of various departments to complete the necessary arrangements on time.
He said that proper arrangements should be made in view of the cold weather, so that school students etc. do not face any kind of problem. He said that due to Republic Day, full attention should be paid to cleanliness and decoration in various parts of the city, roads and police lines. He also directed the concerned departments to prepare various tableaux presenting the development works and facilities given to the people.
The Deputy Commissioner said that in the coming days, the students are starting rehearsals, after which a full dress rehearsal has been scheduled on January 24. He directed the police officers to make proper security arrangements. Similarly, he directed to make proper arrangements for health services, fire brigade, drinking water etc. at the venue.
He said that tableaux of Punjab Police, NCC, PRTC, Health Department, Education, Municipal Corporation, Agriculture Department, Markfed etc. will be included in the parade, for which the concerned departments should complete the arrangements in time. On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Rahul Chaba, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Nikas Kumar, besides senior officers of civil and police administration were present.
