
B.S. Rattan's book "My Favorite Writings" was launched.
Patiala- Pratimaan Sahitya Manch Patiala, continuing its series of serious dialogue events, launched the book "My Favorite Writings" by eminent writer B.S. Rattan. The program was presided over by Dr. Bhim Inder Singh, Director, Vishwa Punjabi Kendra and Pawan Harchandpuri, President, Central Punjabi Writers' Association, Sekhon, was present as the chief guest. Young poet Jaswant Gill and moderator of the literary forum, Dr. Amarjit Kaunke, were present as special guests in the presidium.

First of all, Dr. Amarjit Kaunke, while speaking the welcome address, welcomed all the guests and said that Pratimaan Sahitya Manch is always committed to creating constructive dialogue on good books. He welcomed all the guests who had come. After this, the presidium performed the book launch ceremony, in which Madam Sanmeet Kaur, IG Police Delhi and Mrs. Sangat Rattan also participated.
Starting the conversation about this book, Dr. Baljinder Singh said that the articles in this book remove the fears, anxieties and doubts within the youth and instill confidence in them. He said that this book proves helpful in making life truthful. Taking this conversation forward, Dr. Iqbal Somian described this book as a book written using the text-based reading technique. Dr. Darshan Singh Asht said that this book talks about issues related to our society.
Dr. Amarjit Singh Kavishastra said about this book that this book tells how to read a text and how to share it with others. Dr. Harpreet Rana said that this book gives you information about many important books that should be read. Kulwant Singh Narike discussed the personality of BS Rattan. Balwinder Bhatti said that this book is a book of life's behavior. Other friends also gave their reactions.
In the second session of this program, the young poet Jaswant Gill, the author of the book "Zindagi De Parchawe", was specially honored. First of all, Jaswant Gill read five of his poems and Dr. Arvinder Kaur Kakra gave detailed commentary on them.
Speaking about the event, Pawan Harchandpuri said that we should avoid using words of other languages in the language of criticism and should create literature by connecting with the common people. BS Rattan shared his experiences about his book with the audience and at the end, Dr. Bhim Inder Singh said that this book is an important book.

At the end of the program, the presidium was given a token of appreciation and a special award was given to the young poet Jaswant Gill. Navdeep Mundi said the words of thanks and the stage was conducted very beautifully by Dr. Gurvinder Aman. Around 60 writers and readers participated in this program. This program organized by Pratimaan Sahitya Manch turned out to be a memorable program.
