SAS Nagar, January 1 - Social worker leader Shri RP Singh planted saplings on the occasion of his grandson Gurtaj Singh's 6th birthday today.
Shri RP Singh said that it was the wish of Gurtaj's mother Dr. Gurleen Kaur that Gurtaj's birthday should be celebrated by planting saplings. On this occasion, neem and mango saplings were planted in Bougainvillea Park Phase 4.
On this occasion, Gurtaj's father Shri Amitoj Singh could not be present at the sapling planting event as he was abroad.
Gurtaj's grandmother Bibi Varinder Kaur, former councilor Shri Gurmukh Singh Sohal and social worker leader Shri Jogi were also present at the event.
