Hoshiarpur- During an exclusive interaction with senior journalist Shri Sanjeev Kumar, General Manager, Hoshiarpur Milk Plant, Shri Rajesh Balsotra highly appreciated the dynamic changes and remarkable progress taking place in Milkfed Punjab. He attributed this remarkable progress to the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Punjab Shri Bhagwant Mann and the successful guidance of Managing Director of Milkfed Punjab Shri Rahul Gupta, IAS.
Shri Balsotra said that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is making sincere efforts to strengthen the cooperative institutions and for the welfare of farmers. He said that the effective leadership and result-oriented working style of Shri Rahul Gupta has taken Milkfed to new heights in the field of dairy processing, welfare of farmers and customer satisfaction.
He informed that Hoshiarpur Milk Plant is procuring fresh milk directly from the local farmers on a daily basis, which is processed using modern technology to prepare products as per the highest standards of quality and hygiene. He said that we are proudly serving pure milk, creamy curd, high quality butter, delicious kheer and traditional sweets to the customers.
All this has been possible only and only due to the visionary thinking of our Managing Director Mr. Rahul Gupta and the support of the Punjab Government. He also informed that Milkfed Punjab is also fully dedicated to the welfare of farmers. Regular training camps and awareness programmes are being organized in the villages, where latest information on animal husbandry, balanced diet, good breed and increasing milk production is given.
He said that these initiatives not only increase the income of farmers but also help them towards self-reliance. This cooperative model of Milkfed under the leadership of Mr. Rahul Gupta and policy direction of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is proving beneficial for both farmers and consumers in Punjab.
In conclusion, Mr. Balsotra expressed hope that due to such strong and coordinated leadership at the state and institutional level, the dairy sector of Punjab is moving towards a new era of growth and prosperity.
