Una, December 21- All domestic consumers coming under the electricity sub-division Basal should ensure that their electricity meter account number is linked to the Aadhar card (KYC) by December 31. This information was given by Assistant Engineer Sunil Kumar of Electricity Sub-Division Basal. 
He said that it would be mandatory to bring documents like Aadhar card, ration card and new and old electricity bills for getting KYC done. During KYC, consumers should keep the mobile linked to the Aadhar card with them. He said that if a consumer does not cooperate in getting KYC done or does not want to get KYC done, then in future that consumer may be deprived of the facilities available in electricity bills.
Apart from this, Sunil Kumar said that the consumers who have not paid the electricity bills for the month of November, December or earlier months should ensure to make the payment on time otherwise the electricity connection will be disconnected without any advance notice.
