SAS Nagar/ Chandigarh, December 8: The admission process for the 15th course has started in Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute (MRSAFPI), Mohali. And interested students can apply online by visiting the portal https://recruitment-portal.in till December 22, 2024. Sharing this information today, the Director of this institute, Major General (Retd) Ajay H Chauhan, VSM, said that the entrance examination for this course will be held on January 12, 2025.
He said that the students of class 10 who are interested in joining NDA can apply for the new course at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute. Apart from this, students currently studying in class 11 can also apply. But they will be given admission in class 11 only after fulfilling the age criteria. The eligibility criteria are available on the institute’s website https://www.afpipunjab.org.
Talking about the achievements of this institute, he said that till now a total of 238 cadets of this institute have joined various service training academies and 160 cadets have become commissioned officers in the defence services. He said that the results of Maharaja Ranjit Singh AFPI have been the best in the entire country and the cadets of the institute have brought glory to Punjab across the country.
He encouraged the students who are interested in becoming defence officers to apply for the new course at MRSAFPI.
