Khadkan School student Diksha won three medals in swimming

Hoshiarpur: In the 68th Punjab School Games 2024-25, under the direction of District Education Officer Lalita Arora and District Sports Coordinator Jagjit Singh and guidance of Principal Tarlochan Singh and Master Ajay Kumar, Diksha Thind, a class 10 student of Government Senior Secondary School Kharkan, performed brilliantly in swimming in Mohali and brought laurels to Hoshiarpur district by winning three gold medals in 50m, 100m and 200m.

Hoshiarpur: In the 68th Punjab School Games 2024-25, under the direction of District Education Officer Lalita Arora and District Sports Coordinator Jagjit Singh and guidance of Principal Tarlochan Singh and Master Ajay Kumar, Diksha Thind, a class 10 student of Government Senior Secondary School Kharkan, performed brilliantly in swimming in Mohali and brought laurels to Hoshiarpur district by winning three gold medals in 50m, 100m and 200m.
Apart from this, the girls of this government school achieved a historic victory by winning three gold medals in the state swimming tournament of Khel Watan Punjab this year. Now this player is going to lead Punjab in Gujarat in the National School Games. The players were felicitated by Deputy District Education Officer Dheeraj Vashisht on behalf of the district.
Principal Tarlochan Singh encouraged the players to work hard for the National Games by giving them cash prizes and wished them success.
On this occasion Parminder Singh, Monica Rana, Daljit Kaur, Sushma Devi, Surinder Singh, Rajiv Sharma, Ramnik Singh, Manjit Singh, Nidhi Sharma, Meenakshi, Daljit Kind, Sneh Lata, Gurpreet Kaur, Rajan Marwaha, Chaman Lal etc were present.
