Sardar Bhagat Singh Nagar Nawanshahr: As per the guidelines received from Punjab State Legal Services Authority SAS Nagar, the Constitution Day was celebrated at Navi Court Complex, Sardar Bhagat Singh Nagar under the leadership of Hon’ble District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Smt. Priya Sood and Civil Judge (Senior Division)/CJM-cum-Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Dr. Amandeep Ji.
On this occasion, all the judicial officers, bar advocates, DLSA staff and all the court staff employees were present. On this occasion, Hon’ble District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Smt. Priya Sood addressed everyone and said that our Constitution is full of features. According to which the freedom to work within the rules has been given.
Our Constitution clearly mentions the fundamental duties of every citizen. Protecting the unity and integrity of India, promoting harmony in society, ensuring the dignity of women, protecting the environment, developing scientific temper, safeguarding public property and taking the country to higher levels of achievement are among the fundamental duties of citizens.
Apart from this, Senior Advocate Sapna Jaggi said that the ideals enshrined in the Preamble of the Constitution are complementary to each other. Together, they create an environment in which every citizen gets the opportunity to flourish, contribute to the society and help fellow citizens. Apart from this, Senior Advocate J.D. Jain also addressed the gathering.
