Una: September 26- Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri on Thursday inaugurated the three-day Mata Shri Chintapurni Mahotsav at Mela Ground Amb. Local MLA Sudarshan Singh Bablu was with him on this occasion.
The Deputy Chief Minister welcomed the holy flame of Mata Shri Chintapurni Ji in the SDM Amb office premises and participated in the Shobha Yatra. After that, he worshiped Mata Shri Chintapurni Ji in the pandal set up in the fair ground and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the district and the state. He unveiled the festival plaque and wished everyone a Happy Mata Shri Chintapurni Mahotsav.
On this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister also released the souvenir of the festival. He symbolically presented school kits to 8 beneficiary children under the Sukh Ashray Yojana. Let us tell you that the administration is celebrating the first day of the festival as Sukh Ashray Day.
He thanked the administration for its active cooperation in organising the festival.
The priests of Mata Shri Chintapurni Temple were also honoured.
*Inauguration of Development Exhibition*
The Deputy Chief Minister inaugurated the development exhibition organized at Amb sports ground during the festival. He also visited the exhibition stalls set up by various departments related to the schemes, achievements and programs of the state government.
The Deputy Chief Minister also enjoyed observing the wrestling competition at the fair.
On this occasion, former minister Kuldeep Kumar, former MLA Ganesh Barwal, District Congress President Ranjit Rana, State Congress Secretary Ashok Thakur, District Congress OBC Cell President Pramod Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal, Superintendent of Police Rakesh Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahendra Pal Gurjar, SDM Amb Sachin Sharma and other dignitaries were present.
