Hoshiarpur - Cabinet Minister Brahm Shankar Gimpa has started the street maintenance work in Mohalla Gobind Nagar of Ward No. 12 at a cost of Rs. 1.3 lakh. Mayor Surinder Kumar, Chairman of Urban Improvement Trust Hoshiarpur Harmeet Aulakh, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini and Deputy Mayor Ranjita Chaudhary were also present with him on this occasion. The cabinet minister assured the Mohalla residents that the state government is giving priority to development in every area of ??the city And in the wards where development work is still pending, the work will be started soon. He said that the construction of these streets will make it easier for the residents of Mohalla Gobind Nagar to come and go and will also increase the beauty of the area.
The cabinet minister said that the aim of the government is to provide basic facilities to every neighborhood and every street, so that the common people do not have to face any kind of inconvenience. He further said that the government has made large-scale plans for the development of the area and they are being implemented rapidly. Brahm Shankar Jimpa said on this occasion that the Municipal Corporation is committed to carry out equal development work in every part of the city. He also directed the officials to complete the work on time.
