Mahilpur - To develop literary interest in children, the Nai Kalam Nai Udaan project has been launched globally by Sukhi Baath, founder of Punjab Bhawan Sari, Canada. Under this, the first book of various literary genres of children of Hoshiarpur district was presented to the public.

In the grand ceremony of book presentation, the children touched the hearts of the elders with their presentations. District Education Officer (AC) Hoshiarpur Madam Kamaldeep Kaur, Mr. Baljinder Mann, Editor Nikian Karumbalan, Mr. Amandeep Sharma, Mr. Gurmeet Hayatpuri, Mr. Anupam Ratan specially attended to bless the children. Chief Editor Pradeep Singh Mauji welcomed everyone. Nitin Suman played the role of stage management.
