Chandigarh, January 8- Haryana Public Health Engineering and Public Works Minister Mr. Ranbir Gangwa has said that in accordance with the decreasing land holdings and changing weather, farmers need to do farming with more and more new technology and scientific methods instead of traditional farming. He called upon the farmers to leave traditional farming and adopt the latest technology of farming and increase their income.

The Public Health Engineering and Public Works Minister was addressing the people present after the inauguration program of Organic Hariyali Nursery in village Mandhan of Bhiwani today. On this occasion, the Minister honored various progressive farmers.
The Minister said that the Central and State Government are committed to the interests of the farmers. The Central Government has taken many steps to increase the income of farmers, while most of the crops in the state are being purchased at MSP prices.
He said that new techniques should be adopted in farming, so that the farmers of the state also move towards becoming entrepreneurs and their income increases. Such new technologies will not only benefit the farmers but will also create a distinct identity in the field of horticulture in the state.
He appealed to the farmers to leave traditional farming and do farming as per the market demand, this will be of great benefit to the farmers and will increase their income. For this, the state government not only provides free training, but is also providing assistance of agricultural machinery, poly house, net house and other technologies on subsidy to the farmers to adopt modern farming. He said that the land holdings are decreasing. In such a situation, to earn more profit on less land, one will have to resort to technology.
He said that the state government has worked to provide direct benefits by making many schemes in the interest of every section like farmers, poor, laborers etc.
During this, after inaugurating the organic greenery nursery by cutting the ribbon, the minister inspected the nursery and gave the message of environmental protection by planting saplings.
