On this occasion, DTF State Joint Secretary Mukesh Kumar, District President Sukhdev Dancewal, District Secretary Indersukhdeep Singh Odra and local leaders Sandeep Singh, Harvinder Singh and Mandeep Singh demanded from the Punjab government that the jobs and future of hundreds of teachers of 3704 Master Cadre, 899 English, 6635 ETT excluded from the recast merit lists should be secured and the service termination notices issued to 3704 Master Cadre and 6635 ETT teachers should be cancelled from the outset.
Similarly, 6635 ETT, 4161 and 2392 Master, ETT to Master and Master to Lecturer promoted teachers and exempted categories who are victims of the biased station selection policy should be given a special opportunity for unconditional transfer and the process of ‘General Transfers-2025’ should be started immediately.
The leaders demanded that all the pending promotions of all teaching and non-teaching cadre employees working in the education department from ETT to Principal should be completed without any bias as per 75% promotion quota by presenting all the vacant stations. Computer teachers, meritorious teachers, associate teachers, all raw teachers and all non-teaching under the education department should be regularized. The decision to generalize the court decision to give arrears as per the full pay scale to 5178 teachers during the probation period should be implemented in reality.
The demands of DTF to cancel the termination proposal of teacher Narinder Bhandari and confirm the services and to issue pending regular orders of ODL teachers were again raised. Similarly, the decision of the Punjab and Haryana High Court to cancel the termination order of Dr. Ravinder Kamboj was demanded to implement the pending regular letter. They demanded that the court decision to pay salary arrears to ODL teachers as per the regular date be implemented.
The decision to cancel the direct recruitment of Principals, BPEOs and Headmasters should be withdrawn and recruitment should be completed as per 25% quota. The court decisions regarding the cancellation of the new scales implemented after 17-07-2020, restoration of the Punjab pay scale and giving full pay scale during the probation period should be implemented.
The old pension, all the allowances deducted including rural and border area allowances and annual proficiency scheme (ACP) should be restored and the pending 13% DA of the employees should be released. The decision to reduce the pay grade of PTI and art craft teachers should be cancelled from the beginning. 125 volunteer teachers who have completed 10 years of service should be given the status of associate teacher.
3582 master cadres should be ensured to get all the benefits from the date of training. 5994 ETT (backlog) and remaining appointment letters out of 2364 recruitments should be issued. Contract-based jobs should also be considered eligible for extension of unexpected leave for male teachers.
