Hoshiarpur- Like the previous months, this month also Ayurjeevan Ayurvedic Research Center organized a drug de-addiction camp in Gurdwara Sahib Shaheedan Ladhewal Mahilpur to rid the youth of drug addiction. In this regard, MD of Ayurjeevan Ayurvedic Research Center and District President of Dal Khalsa, Baljinder Singh Khalsa said that 56 youths who came to this camp after quitting drugs got their checkup done and took medicine to quit drugs.
On this occasion, Baljinder Singh Khalsa said that in today's time, girls and women who are victims of drug addiction are forced to sell their bodies to fulfill their addiction. He said that drug addiction has hollowed out the young generation of Punjab, due to which Punjab has reached the verge of destruction. He said that due to drug addiction, incidents of robbery and theft are happening in Punjab. He said that while criminal incidents have taken place due to drug addiction, there is turmoil in the society.
He said that the governments are claiming to control drug addiction but the addiction of white liquor is increasing instead of decreasing. He said that people should also cooperate with the police administration to prevent drug addiction. He said that the youth of Punjab is suffering from drug addiction. Governments are pretending to be ignorant even after knowing everything. Today every child of Punjab knows that if the government wants to stop drug addiction, it can do so in a day. But the government's intentions regarding the issue of drug addiction are not right because today the houses of big leaders are running on drug smuggling.

Money goes into the government treasury only from the drug business. He said that a singer released a song in Punjab that only the government sells white liquor, so liquor is sold openly. After this the singer was harassed by the government! Mukesh Rana, Jeet Singh Sarangwal, Tajinder Pabla etc. were present on this occasion.
