Bhai Mangal Singh, an old student of the college, presented seven volumes of Anbhavi Gurbani Gyan Stick to Khalsa College Mahilpur.

Mahilpur 21 June- Bhai Mangal Singh, a student of BSc class session 1965-66 of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur, today reached the college and presented all the seven volumes of Anbhavi Gurbani Gyan Stick based on the interpretation of Guru Granth Sahib Ji and other important texts in Hindi, English and Punjabi related to Gurmat thinking to the Sant Baba Hari Singh Memorial Library of Khalsa College Mahilpur.

Mahilpur 21 June- Bhai Mangal Singh, a student of BSc class session 1965-66 of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur, today reached the college and presented all the seven volumes of Anbhavi Gurbani Gyan Stick based on the interpretation of Guru Granth Sahib Ji and other important texts in Hindi, English and Punjabi related to Gurmat thinking to the Sant Baba Hari Singh Memorial Library of Khalsa College Mahilpur.
On this occasion, the college's Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh, Head of Punjabi Department Dr. J.B. Sekhon, Head of Physical Education Department Prof. Raj Kumar warmly welcomed Bhai Mangal Singh in the college and football promoter Principal Jagmohan Singh and social worker Tarsem Singh Dandian, who accompanied him, also welcomed him.
On this occasion, Principal Jagmohan Singh informed that Bhai Mangal Singh, a resident of village Mayo Patti (Kapurthala), was a student of BSc class of 1965-66 session, who after higher education served as Deputy Director in UPSC New Delhi and retired in 2008.
After retirement, he did serious study on the accurate interpretation of Guru Granth Sahib Ji and wrote seven volumes of empirical knowledge of Gurbani and other serious writings related to Gurmat thinking. On this occasion, Bhai Mangal Singh expressed his views on the basic concepts related to Gurmat thinking and Sikh culture and told about the writing process of his writings written in English, Hindi and Punjabi.
Recalling the moments spent during his student life in Khalsa College Mahilpur, he said that this institution has brightened the lives of many students and after reaching here he is feeling the student life again. He inspired the students of the college to get involved in the study of Gurbani along with academic education and lead a morally pure life.
On this occasion, college principal Dr. Parvinder Singh thanked Bhai Mangal Singh and the dignitaries present. The college management specially honoured Bhai Mangal Singh, Principal Jagmohan Singh and social worker Tarsem Singh Dandiyan.
