Chandigarh , June 11 - Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini took an important decision in the interest of sanitation workers on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Kabir Das Ji and announced an increase of Rs 2100 in their monthly salary . Apart from this , he also announced the construction of a 100-bed drug de-addiction center in Sant Sarsai Nath Medical College being built in Sirsa . He also announced the increase of the number of beds in the drug de-addiction center located in Dabwali from 10 to 30 beds and the construction of a new 30-bed drug de-addiction center near the government hospital in Ellenabad .
The Chief Minister was addressing the public present at the Sant Shiromani Kabir Das Jayanti state level function organized in Sirsa district under the Sant-Mahapurush Samman and Vichar Prachar-Prasar Yojana today . On this occasion , the Chief Minister announced to give Rs 31 lakh . He said that the government has resolved in its Sankalp Patra to increase the salary of sanitation workers to 26 thousand in 5 years in a phased manner , the government is committed to this . We will fulfill what we have said in the Sankalp Patra .
The Chief Minister said that Sant Kabir was the bearer of the Sarvadharma Sambhava and Vasudeva Kutumbakam tradition of Indian culture and a priceless gem of history . He was born at a time when our society was bound by darkness, casteism and traditional customs . Sant Kabir achieved a place of honor due to his deeds . He was the most courageous social reformer of his time . He dealt a severe blow to the evils of all religions .
He said that saints, great sages, saints, prophets and gurus like Sant Kabir Das Ji have shown the true path of life to the wandering humanity . The teachings of such great personalities are the heritage of the entire human society . It is the responsibility of all of us to preserve their legacy and to protect it.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi played a major role in building modern India .
Shri Naib Singh Saini said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has always described the ideas of Sant Kabir Ji as the foundation of modern India . Taking forward the ideas of Sant Kabir Ji, after independence, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has played a major role in the construction of modern India . In the last 11 years, the government under the leadership of the Prime Minister has worked to strengthen the poor by implementing welfare schemes .
He said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the Haryana Government has also implemented many schemes and policies for the upliftment of every section of the society, following the fundamental mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas , Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas .
The Chief Minister said that the basic philosophy of our government is Antondaya , the upliftment of the last person standing in the line . This is the path of Sant Kabir , this is the basis of our policies . Today, our triple engine government is moving forward on the path shown by Sant Kabir with three times the speed . He said that when the Supreme Court's decision came on the provision of reservation for the disadvantaged Scheduled Castes, the Haryana government worked to implement that decision in the state and gave its right to the DSC community .

Welfare of sanitation workers
The Chief Minister said that the government has constituted the Haryana State Safai Karamcharis Commission to protect the interests of the sanitation workers . It has guaranteed safety and dignity for the sanitation workers . It has provided an insurance amount of Rs 5 lakh in case of death of the sanitation workers during their duty and Rs 10 lakh in case of death while working in the sewerage. Apart from this , more than 5 thousand sanitation workers working through agencies have been taken on the roll of the concerned municipality .
He said that under the Chief Minister's Marriage Shagun Yojana, 2 lakh 60 thousand daughters of poor families of Scheduled Castes were given a shagun amount of Rs. 71 thousand each on their marriage . Under the Ambedkar Awas Nivinkaran Yojana, Rs. 80 thousand is being given to the Scheduled Caste people living below the poverty line for house renovation. Under this scheme, so far, an amount of Rs. 416 crore has been given to 76,985 beneficiaries .
The Chief Minister appealed to adopt the words of Sant Kabir in life , rise above casteism and discrimination and cooperate in nation building .??
Shri Naib Singh Saini said that today, the spirit of Sant Kabir is present in every plan, every policy and every decision of the government implemented with the spirit of Haryana One-Haryanvi One . The words of Sant Kabir Ji are as relevant today as they were then . He appealed to the citizens that we all take the resolve that we will convey the teachings of Sant Kabir to the masses . We will not only remember his words , but also implement them in our lives . By rising above casteism , discrimination , high and low, we will move towards a Bharat-Shershath Bharat .

Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini gave the DSC community their right - Krishan Kumar Bedi??
On this occasion , Minister for Social Justice , Empowerment , Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare and Antondaya (Services) Shri Krishna Kumar Bedi said that the teachings of great men like Sant Kabir are very relevant for today's society . He gave the message of truth, sociality , brotherhood and humanity , which it is the responsibility of all of us to convey to the masses .
He said that the Supreme Court's decision came in the month of August and the first decision to implement the decision in favor of the DSC community was taken by the government of Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini . He said that the DSC community had to struggle for years . This issue was raised many times before other governments and Chief Ministers , but instead of a solution, only confidence and agitation were found . The leaders of the community had to protest and many agitators had to go to jail . But the present government has done the work of realizing the dream that was once incomplete .
He said that this arrangement is not just a Jayanti , but a symbol of social change . The previous governments did not give importance to the tradition of celebrating the Jayanti of social saints and great men , while the present government has made a new beginning , under which the Jayanti of Maharishi Valmiki , Sant Ravidas , Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar , Sant Kabir and other great men are being celebrated at the state level .
BJP State President Shri Mohan Lal Kaushik while addressing the gathering said that this day is not just the birth anniversary of a great man , but it is a day to remember such a man of the era , who rose above caste and discrimination and showed the society the path of harmony . He said that the thoughts of Sant Kabir still inspire today and Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini is taking all sections of the society along according to his principles .
The coordinator of the program, former MP Mrs. Sunita Duggal, said that Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini has given a new identity and a new strength to the exploited and deprived society for years . She said that the Chief Minister is constantly dedicated to public service and is working for the welfare of every section with the spirit of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas .
