New York/Washington, May 31 - US President Donald Trump has said that he is most proud of the agreement between India and Pakistan to prevent a potential nuclear war through trade rather than firing.
In the past few weeks, Trump has also repeatedly claimed that he had told India and Pakistan that if the two countries did not stop the confrontation, the US would stop trade with both countries.
India said on Thursday that the issue of trade did not come up at all in talks between Indian and American leaders during its military clashes with Pakistan. India effectively rejected Washington's repeated claims that the offer of trade had prevented the conflict.
