Guru Nanak Mission Service Society donates a bicycle to a needy school student

Nawanshahr - Following the principle of 'Ghali Khai Kichu Hathu Dei' shown by Guru Nanak Sahib Ji, Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society donated a bicycle to a needy school student of class 9 to go from his village Khadian to Adarsh ??Government Senior Secondary School Khatkar Kalan to pursue higher education.

Nawanshahr - Following the principle of 'Ghali Khai Kichu Hathu Dei' shown by Guru Nanak Sahib Ji, Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society donated a bicycle to a needy school student of class 9 to go from his village Khadian to Adarsh ??Government Senior Secondary School Khatkar Kalan to pursue higher education.
Sharing this information, the chief servant of the society, Surjit Singh, said that due to the poor financial condition of the family and the absence of the father, the child had to walk to school daily. When this matter was brought to the notice of the society through family sources, immediate action was taken on it and it was decided to provide bicycle service to the child. Dr. Jaspreet Kaur, serving in the local Sandhu Hospital, also made a special contribution to this service on the occasion of her birthday today. Daljit Singh Bola Pradhan Khalsa Nawanshahr was also present on this occasion who appreciated the social welfare services being done by the society and appealed to the general public to come forward and cooperate as much as possible for such services.
On this occasion, senior member of the society Didar Singh Gahun, retired DSP said that today we should come forward to help the needy instead of spending lavishly on our children's birthdays or other happy and sad occasions. He said that Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society is working as a link between donors and families to help needy families. Jagdeep Singh Cashier, Parminder Singh Manager, Ranveer Singh Roy, Anil Rana, Harminder Singh Narula, Ankush Nijhawan, Navneet Sharma, Madam Annu Moom and Sandeep Kaur were also present on this occasion.
