March 27, 2024 Nawanshahr - Under the direction of District Election Officer Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar and as per the instructions of Dr. Aksita Gupta IAS Sub Divisional Magistrate Nawanshahr, Deputy Group Education at Govt Primary Smart School, Govt Middle School Sona. And Information Officer Tarsem Lal was made aware as Sweep Nodal Officer.
  The nodal officer of the sweep activity, Tarsem Lal, gave information in this regard to the youth generation, village Vasia, about the importance of voting under the sweep activity.
He said that the new voters must use their vote honestly without any greed after making their vote. Tarsem Lal said that all voters should be strong, alert; Safe and aware. He said that for any information one can call toll free number 1950 for free.
They said to verify your vote with your eyes. Voter Verification Paper Audit Trail (vvpat) is a machine connected to the electronic voting machine through which the voter can be verified. They can see the serial number, name and symbol for which they have voted.
Tarsem Lal alerted Veera and Bhaina who came to the above mentioned thawa and said
 
(1) Vote – Press the blue button on the ballot unit of the EVM.
(2) Verify – Check the slip printed on the VVPAT.
(3) Ensure that you have voted for the candidate of your choice.

On this occasion, Master Jaswant Singh, Booth Level Officer, Harvinder Singh Manjit Kor Deepika Rupinder Kaur, Asa Rani, Jyoti, Geeta Jaspreet Kaur, Bachia were given full support.
