Kharar, July 30: The teachers and students of the local Government Polytechnic College Khunimajra, led by Principal Raksha Kiran, gave a message to reduce global warming by planting trees in the monsoon season.
Under the leadership of Anshu Sharma, Head of the Electrical Department of the college, there was great enthusiasm among the students for planting trees. Principal Raksha Kiran said that students should actively participate in the environmental protection campaign. On this occasion, the media in-charge of the institution and officer-in-charge of Civil Engineering, Prof. Gurbakshish Singh Antal, said that 50 trees of species like Jaman Kaner, Hibiscus, Mango etc. have been planted today.
On this occasion, Head of Modern Office Department Praveen Kaur, Head of Applied Science Kavita Monga, Head of Mechanical Department Sanjeev Jindal, Prof. Avtar Singh and Prof. Amandeep Singh were also present.
