Chandigarh- The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare informed through the official X account that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana for farmers across the country from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh on August 2, 2025. Now farmers will not have to wait much longer.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 20th installment of the Samman Nidhi from his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on August 2 at 11 am. Let us tell you that with the release of the 19th installment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in the month of February, about 9.3 crore farmers of the country have received great benefits.
Let us mention that e-KYC is mandatory to take the benefit of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi. Along with this, the beneficiary farmers should have Aadhaar card, bank account. To take the benefit of this scheme, farmers also need to get their land verified. In the absence of any of these documents, farmers may be deprived of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana.
Let us tell you that under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Rs 6 thousand is sent to the farmers' account annually. This amount is transferred to the farmers' account in 3 installments at an interval of every 4 months. Rs 2,000 is given in each installment.
