Which is a special mission and mass movement. This mission is committed to making every citizen strong and ensuring that no district or block remains behind in the field of development.

Chandigarh, August 1 - Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nays Singh Saini said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision is to ensure rapid and inclusive development in every district and block of the country. Which is a special mission and mass movement. This mission is committed to making every citizen strong and ensuring that no district or block remains behind in the field of development.
Chief Minister Shri Nays Singh Saini said this while addressing the officers and employees during the Aakashi District and Block Program at the State Level Perfection Campaign Honor Ceremony organized at Haryana Niwas, Chandigarh today.
Shri Nays Singh Saini said that the Aakashi District and Block Program was started in the year 2018 under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. This program has to focus on key areas like health and nutrition, education, agriculture and water resources, financial services and infrastructure. This is a comprehensive vision, in which we are all together building a strong, prosperous and equal India.
He said that the results of this campaign have started coming before the people. Everyone has to work 100 percent together on the important points of various areas given by NITI Aayog so that more good results of this campaign can be obtained at the ground level. He said that it is necessary to maintain ownership on the points given by NITI Aayog in the past. Under this campaign, the work of fulfilling the dreams of the Prime Minister and the expectations of the people is being done.
The Chief Minister said that after fulfilling the targets given by NITI Aayog in various areas under the Akashi Districts and Block Programme, a report of that work should be taken and verification should be done. So that complete and accurate information about the work done on the ground under the program can be obtained.
He said that after this campaign started by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, it is getting positive results in Mewat today. He also directed the officers and employees that the targets given by NITI Aayog every year for the blocks of these districts should be achieved 100 percent on time. He also congratulated the officers and employees for the good work.
Shri Naib Singh Saini while instructing the officers said that the farmers in these districts should be encouraged towards horticulture and new options of horticulture should be given. Apart from this, he said that the soil health card should be simplified and complete information should be given to the farmers. He directed the Director of the Agriculture Department to create an account of the Agriculture Department on social media. In which interviews of progressive farmers or farmers doing good work in the agricultural sector should be taken and their interviews should be posted on social media to make other farmers aware.
On this occasion, Chief Secretary Mr. Anurag Rastogi, while welcoming the Chief Minister, gave information about the Akashi District and Block Program. He said that this initiative was launched by the Prime Minister in 2018 with the aim of ensuring balanced and inclusive development between backward and developed districts. Under this program, 115 districts were selected out of more than 800 districts of the entire country on the basis of various developmental criteria. To further strengthen this initiative, the Akashi Block Program was later launched under this scheme, which made the overall development of these areas possible.
Meanwhile, the District Deputy Commissioners of Nuh, Charchi Dadri, Bhiwani and Rewari presented the progress report of the work done under the Akashi District and Block Programme. During this, the Chief Minister honored 26 officers and employees who did excellent work under the Akashi District and Block Programme by giving them certificates of appreciation. The program was attended by Additional Chief Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Mr. Sudhir Rajpal, Director General of the Information, Public Relations and Language Department, Mr. K.M. Pandurang, along with officers and employees of various departments.
