So that the provincial executive of the Pensioners Association can be restructured And in the near future, a new strategy should be drawn up to intensify the struggle against the Punjab government regarding the demands of the pensioners. He also said that the Aam Aadmi Party government led by Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann, while presenting its third budget on March 5, once again failed to pay any attention to the demands of the pensioners. Due to which there is a lot of anger towards them in the hearts of employees and pensioners.
He further said that earlier the Congress government rejected the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission of Punjab and instead of fixing their salaries and pensions with a coefficient of 2.59 on the pattern of the Central Government, a non-adjusted formula of 2.4495 was applied. Then the Aam Aadmi Party ignored the promises made in the elections to accept the constitutional demands of the employees and pensioners and rejected their constitutional demands. And the government, which is called "respect for the elderly", has not respected its pensioners. They again appealed to the government to issue immediate orders to amend the pensions of pensioners who retired before 1-1-2016 on the central government pattern with a factor of 2.59, the necessary clarification regarding fixing pensions on notional basis should be issued immediately. | 2.59 After revising the pensions with the coefficient, the arrears of pension from 1-1-2016 and the outstanding dearness allowance installments for 220 months up to 31-3-2024 should be paid immediately. And 50 percent Dearness Allowance should be paid immediately as per Government of Ketar.
