Patiala: June 17: Recently, Rajasthan Agriculture Minister Karori Lal Meena raided fake companies operating in several states of South India in the name of IFFCO company, which have licenses from Delhi and Tamil Nadu, but fertilizers were being produced at different places in the villages of Ajmer district.
Reacting to the Agriculture Minister himself conducting raids and exposing the ongoing cow smuggling business, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh National President Satnam Singh Behru praised the Agriculture Minister of Rajasthan for bringing the brave people who betrayed the farmers to justice and said that the discussion in the media about these exposed fake fertilizers and other agricultural materials has created panic among the farmers of North India.
Farmers are worried about where to get reliable DAP, Urea fertilizers for Kharif crops. Therefore, Home Minister of India Amit Shah should immediately announce a CBI inquiry into this cow smuggling business to serve the interests of farmers. This cow smuggling business is linked to dozens of fertilizer manufacturing factories.
Since it is directly linked to the food security of the country, fake fertilizers and other materials reach the farmers' fields, which has a very bad effect on agricultural production. Shri Behru assured the farmers of the country on behalf of the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh that if any attempt is made to suppress this exposed racket politically, then he will not hesitate to knock the doors of the Supreme Court to fulfill the interests of the farmers.
Shri Behru wanted to know why the Rajasthan government exposed the use of DAP, urea and other agricultural materials by many other companies in the name of IFFCO company and why our Punjab Chief Minister is silent? Therefore, Punjab farmer Bhagwant Singh Mann wants to know from the Chief Minister how the high officials of Punjab's Markfed department and Agriculture department took huge commission from Madhya Bharat Agro Products Limited and Krishna Toviscan Private Limited companies and how thousands of meters of substandard DAP reached the farmers' fields.
When we came to know about this, 60 percent of the DAP samples failed. We had informed you through three registered letters whether any legal action has been taken till date against the concerned companies and high officials of the government.
