Una, 21 March:- In view of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, election workers were trained by conducting a workshop on the use of 'Next Gen DISE' software. Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Mahendra Pal Gurjar presided over this one-day training workshop organized at DRDA Auditorium on Thursday. In the workshop, the process of data entry related to the duty of employees in elections was explained to the district heads and IT personnel of various departments in the 'Next Gen' DISE software. They were also given detailed information about the categories for entry and the categories exempted from data entry. Their curiosities and doubts in this regard were also resolved.
ADC Mahendra Pal Gurjar said that as per the instructions of the Election Commission, a one-day training workshop was organized for the district officers and IT personnel of various departments and they were educated about error-free entries of data in the 'DISE' software. They were given complete information about its operation so that there is no error or problem in the data entered in the software.
Let us tell you, to make the process of assigning duty of employees in elections easy and transparent, the Election Commission has prepared 'Next Generation District Information System for Election' software. Employees' data has to be filled in it. The duty of employees in polling stations will be assigned through this 'DISE' software.
ADC said that the Election Commission's emphasis is on full and proper use of e-services and media to make the electoral process smooth and transparent. For this purpose, the Commission has prepared several software and online portals to conduct and monitor the election process. The district administration is working to train election personnel for their proper use as per the instructions of the Election Commission.
