SAS Nagar, January 20 - Acting on the call given by the National Justice Front to exempt 13 toll plazas of Punjab from toll tax from 11 am to 2 pm, the leaders of Bharatiya Kisan Union Rajewal Today, under the leadership of senior union leader Paramdeep Singh Baidwan, a dharna was held at Azijpur toll plaza in Mohali district, and the toll plaza was made tax-free.
On this occasion, Mr. Baidwan said that on January 20, the National Justice Front had invited 13 toll plazas of Punjab to collect toll tax. Acting on this, the union has freed them from tax by staging sit-ins at various toll plazas. District President Mohali, Kirpal Singh Siao, Lakhwinder Singh, Jagjit Singh Jaggi, Iqbal Singh Beropur, Rustam Zirakpur, Naib Singh Hulka, Gurwinder Singh, Harjit Singh were also present with him on this occasion.

It is to be mentioned that the National Justice Front for the release of captive Sikhs had recently invited 13 Tal Plazas of Punjab to be tax-free on January 20 from 11 am to 2 am. The toll plazas which were invited to be kept tax free Among them Ferozshah and Tarapura toll plazas in Ferozpur,
Ajijpur of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Banur-Zirakpur Road),
Bhagomajara (Kharar to Ludhiana Road),
Solakhians (Kharar to Ropar Road) and
Barodi Toll Plaza (Mullanpur to Kurali),
Dhreri Jat Toll Plaza of Patiala District,
Bamaniwala Toll Plaza of Jalandhar (Shahkot to Moga Road),
Ladowal Toll Plaza of Ludhiana,
Ghulal Toll Plaza (Samrala),
Jida Toll Plaza of Bathinda District (Bathinda to Kotakpura Road),
Talwandi Bhai Toll Plaza of Faridkot District (Talwandi Bhai to Faridkot Road)
And Kathgarh-Bachhua Toll Plaza (Balachore) of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar is included.
