Hoshiarpur- Bahujan Samaj Party Punjab General Secretary Contractor Bhagwan Das Sidhu, General Secretary Punjab Chaudhary Gurnam Singh, Advocate Palwinder Mana, Chabbewal constituency, strongly criticized the insult of the statue of Bharat Ratna, the messiah of crores of people, the maker of the Indian Constitution, in Phillaur on the second day and said that those who insult Baba Saheb should be given death penalty.
Contractor Bhagwan Das Sidhu, Chaudhary Gurnam and Advocate Mana said that some anti-social, anti-India forces are trying to destroy the atmosphere of mutual brotherhood, unity, peace and harmony by sowing seeds of hatred in the Dalit Sikh community, the people of Punjab should be cautious of such forces.
BSP leaders said that Punjab is the land of gurus, saints, scholars, warriors who have shown the countrymen the way to live in peace, harmony and brotherhood and have also given them the strength to protect their constitutional rights.
BSP leaders said that the failures of selfish and greedy people sitting in the government have insulted Baba Saheb and crushed the religious, social and political sentiments of crores of Dalits and poor, which the Bahujan Samaj Party will not tolerate.
