SAS Nagar, June 7 - In the recent past, the number of stray dogs has increased considerably in our city and the surrounding areas and flocks of these stray dogs are seen everywhere, be it in the markets of the city or in the parks and streets, neighborhoods.
These stray dogs prey on small children, women and the elderly. And due to their terror, children are even afraid to go out of their homes and play. People also demand control over these stray dogs, but this problem of theirs is continuously increasing.
The terror of stray dogs is continuously increasing in the city and in the past, there has also been a significant increase in the incidents of stray dogs biting the residents of the city and the number of patients coming to the local civil hospital from all over the district due to dog bites is also continuously increasing.
These stray dogs also disrupt traffic and when a vehicle passes near these dogs, these dogs chase that vehicle at full speed.
 Sometimes when a two-wheeler driver speeds up his vehicle to avoid these dogs, the two-wheeler often goes out of his control and the situation becomes an accident. These dogs also keep fighting among themselves. There is a large number of these dogs in the city parks too, due to which people visiting the parks have to face various problems. 
But the local administration has completely failed to solve the problem of stray dogs. The city residents demand that necessary steps be taken to control the stray dogs, which are becoming a big problem in the city.
