Patiala, January 18 - Krishi Vigyan Kendra organized a field day on wheat, potato and tomato diseases at village Birwal (Patiala), in which about 40 farmers of the area participated. Speaking on this occasion, Dr. Amarjit Singh informed the present farmers about the symptoms and treatment of potato late blight disease and encouraged them to adopt web based decision making system developed by PAU to prevent this disease. Dr. Manmohan Dhakal made the farmers aware about the method of identification of potato and tomato virus diseases and their preventive measures.
