
Youth sent to Jalandhar for training under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushal Yojana
Nawanshahr- Punjab Skill Development Mission led by Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) Rajiv Verma sent 17 candidates from the district to Nurmahal, Jalandhar for training in free skill training programmes under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushal Yojana.
Nawanshahr- Punjab Skill Development Mission led by Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) Rajiv Verma sent 17 candidates from the district to Nurmahal, Jalandhar for training in free skill training programmes under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushal Yojana.
On this occasion, the district level team of Punjab Skill Development Mission informed that to make the rural unemployed youth of the district employable by imparting skill training, the candidates will be trained at the skill training centre established by training partner M/s Shri Siddhi Vinayak Society at Nurmahal in Jalandhar district.
Under this scheme, unemployed youth are being given five months free residential skill training in Electrical Foreman and Front Office Associate courses at government approved residential training centre. Apart from free skill training in these training centres established by training partners, free accommodation, food, copies, books, uniforms and playground facilities are being provided.
After the skill training, the candidates will be given government skill certification certificate. After the training, the candidates will be given placement in private companies related to these courses. On this occasion, the Additional Deputy Commissioner wished the candidates for their bright future.
On this occasion, the district level team of Punjab Skill Development Mission which included Shammi Thakur, Sumit Sharma and Raj Kumar, Navjeet Singh Pannu from training partner Shri Siddhi Vinayak Society and his staff were present.
