
Public presentation of the second edition of Satnam Singh Mattu's book 'Yakh Raatan Poh Ki'
Patiala, December 11 - Punjabi Sahitya Sabha Patiala organized a literary event at the language department. In the presiding committee of the event Dr. Darshan Singh Asht, president of the association, "Padma Shri" Jagjit Singh Dardi, Punjabi language lover Professor Panditrao Dharanwar, Daily Punjabi Jagran Bureau Chief Navdeep Dhingra, Central Punjabi Writers' Association President Darshan Buttar and Mata Gujri College Fatehgarh. Former Vice-Principal of Sahib Dr. Rajinder Kaur joined. In this event, the second edition of Satnam Singh Mattu's poetry collection 'Yakh Ratan Poh Ki' was presented to the public.

Welcoming the writers who arrived at the beginning of the event, the President of the Sabha Dr. Darshan Singh 'Aasht' said that the scope of Punjabi mother tongue is very wide but at present there is an important need to connect the new generation with their heritage and culture. Referring to the long association with Punjabi Sahitya Sabha Patiala, Chairman of Charddikala Time TV "Padma Shri" Jagjit Singh Dardi said that it is an important task to pay homage to the martyrdom of Sahibzades through such events and remember their glory. Panditrao Dharanwar (Chandigarh), the flag-bearer of Punjabi mother language, said that Punjabi mother tongue is a highly respected language for him and he feels happy by translating the writings of this language into Kannada, the language of his province. Shiromani poet Darshan Buttar said that the activities of this Sirmaur Sahitya Sabha of Patiala have a special place. Navdeep Dhingra said with reference to the book that the Punjabi language has become richer with the strong roots of Punjabi literature and journalism.
Dr. Rajinder Kaur as the keynote speaker on Satnam Singh Mattu's book said that this book is a beautiful bouquet of Punjabi language, poetry, religion and history and a source of inspiration. Narrator Babu Singh Rahal said that this book has given a heart-wrenching description of reality. Meanwhile, singer Sukhwant Lovely sang a special song. Satnam Singh Mattu said that he got a lot of solace by writing this book, in which many songs have been sung by singers.

In this event, Assistant Director of Language Department, Punjab, Tejinder Singh Gill, Jaininder Chauhan, Kuldeep Kaur Dhanju, Sushma Sabharwal, Sukhwinder Kaur Ahi, Kirandeep Kaur, Sukhwinder Singh, Bhupinder Upram Sukhwinderjit Singh, Jaswant Singh Nauhra, Joga Singh Dhanula, Ashwani Bagri, GB Singh Pammi, Sumit Kumar, Munish Malhotra, Surgivander Singh Chhabra, Dr. Usha Goyal Bathinda, Baljinder Kaur Jinde, Jasbir Kaur, Advocate SP Singh, Jolly Verma, Gaganpreet Kaur Sappal, Manpreet Kaur, Harvinder Singh Ghulam, Kuldeep Singh Jolly Verma , Honey Wally, Baljit Mala, Comedian Lucky, Amrik Singh, Sushil Kumar, Jaswinder Singh and many other personalities were present.
