Patiala: The SIT (Special Investigation Team) formed on the orders of the High Court in the case of the assault on Colonel Pushpinder Singh Bath in Patiala reached Patiala again today. During this, the scene was recreated at the scene of the incident. This process was completed with the help of a drone, for which the police had taken necessary permission.
The colonel's wife was also present on the occasion. She said that she is satisfied with the SIT's investigation, as the team is investigating every aspect thoroughly. However, she also said that whenever she comes to the dhaba at the scene of the incident, she feels very sad.
That is why her husband was beaten here. She said, "My son is sad when he goes home. When we come here, we feel very bad." The colonel's wife Jaswinder Kaur also said that the owner of the dhaba had earlier told her the truth, but now he has changed his statement.
The colonel's wife said that the four accused in this case, Inspector Harjinder Singh, Sharminder Singh, Ronnie Singh and Harry Boparai, have not been caught. She had met Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria regarding this matter. Along with this, she had also met DGP Chandigarh.
She had demanded that arrest warrants be issued for all the four accused. They should be declared PO (fugitive offender). Also, my statement should be recorded and the investigation of the case should be completed within 4 months. Punjab Police is not cooperating in arresting these accused. Now a lookout notice has been issued against these accused. Also, the process of declaring them PO (fugitive offender) is also going on.
