Patiala: Voices are being raised to completely get rid of adulteration in all types of food and beverage products and to stop the sale of poisonous substances, on which the government has not taken any action, and New Patiala Welfare Club, under the leadership of President Arvinder Kumar Kaka, demonstrated by raising slogans against the health department and adulterators.
During this, President Arvinder Kumar Kaka, calling the adulterators the enemy of Punjab and the great sinners who spread diseases, said that the adulterators have become blind in greed and they do not realize that the food and beverage products we are selling after adulteration are making people fall prey to deadly diseases like cancer, for which the officials of the health department are completely responsible.
To stop adulteration, the health department conducts raids and investigations for two-four days for show, then this continues throughout the year, whereas food items are consumed throughout the year. Instead of doing anything, the Mann government is only focused on shining its politics. The entire work of this government is limited to putting up hoarding boards.
Today, there is a huge decline in the physical, mental and intellectual development of children and the synthetic drugs sold in the markets are also extremely harmful for the human body. Today, there are many crimes in food items which are more dangerous and life-threatening than drugs. President Arvinder Kumar Kaka appealed to the people that if even today you do not raise your voice against adulteration and the health department, then your hard-earned money will be wasted in the expensive treatment of serious diseases and you will also have to struggle with diseases like cancer.
Once the Chief Minister of Punjab had drunk water without checking it, so he had to be admitted to a private hospital in Delhi, so what would be the condition of people who consume adulterated products daily. Leaders, ministers, MLAs, Lok Sabha members etc. get every food item tested and purified, but common people do not get such facilities. If adulteration is curbed, then there will be no need to open new hospitals.
 President Arvinder Kumar Kaka said that we will not remain silent against corruption, adulteration and bribery. We will continue to oppose it at all costs. Man Singh, Paramjit Singh, Avtar Singh, Mahinder Singh, Ram Pal Singh, Karam Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Jagtar Singh, Yash Kumar, Surinder Singh, Arun Kumar, Krishna Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Satpal Singh etc. were present on this occasion.
