Deputy Commissioner inaugurated the District Level Organization Work Building in Ransari

Una, November 8 - The District Level Organization Work Building (site) built at Gram Panchayat Ransari under the National Rural Livelihood Mission for enhancing the livelihood of women of self-help groups was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Raghav Sharma.

Una, November 8 - The District Level Organization Work Building (site) built at Gram Panchayat Ransari under the National Rural Livelihood Mission for enhancing the livelihood of women of self-help groups was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Raghav Sharma. During this, PO DRDA Shafali Sharma, Block Development Officer KL Verma, DPM Jyoti Sharma, LSEOs from all development blocks, LVDC, Gram Panchayat Pradhan Balwinder Kaur, Deputy Pradhan Daljeet and others were present.
On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that through this district level organization work building, various types of products like pickles, murabba, jam, chutney, papad, badiya, sepu badi, masala badi, turmeric, honey, sweets are being sold by the self-help groups of the district. Decorative products made of bamboo will also be prepared. He told that all these products are registered in the name of Sombhadra brand. The Deputy Commissioner said that all the women have got a suitable place to work under one roof and sell their finished products. This will also help the women of self-help groups to strengthen their finances.
Apart from this, Raghav Sharma said that women of self-help groups were included in the name of Sombhadra brand in the year 2021 in which 31 women were included. He said that at present self-help groups of women from different villages have been formed. He said that till now an income of about Rs 17 lakh has been earned by selling the products prepared by various groups at the district level.
