Under ‘Punjab Education Revolution’, the image of schools is being changed: Jai Krishan Singh Raudi

Garhshankar, April 17: Deputy Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha Jai Krishan Singh Raudi said that under the ‘Punjab Education Revolution’ campaign launched by the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann, major changes are being made to raise the standard of government schools. Under this campaign, the schools of the state are being equipped with modern facilities.

Garhshankar, April 17: Deputy Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha Jai Krishan Singh Raudi said that under the ‘Punjab Education Revolution’ campaign launched by the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann, major changes are being made to raise the standard of government schools. Under this campaign, the schools of the state are being equipped with modern facilities. 
While grants worth lakhs of rupees are being given for the development works of schools, teachers are also being sent abroad for training so that modern education can be provided to the children.
He was addressing the villagers today while inaugurating development works in 5 schools in Garhshankar assembly constituency at a cost of Rs 41.35 lakh. The Deputy Speaker inaugurated classrooms and boundary walls in Government Elementary School Kot, science lab, boundary walls and other development works in Government High School Pandori Beit, boundary walls and other development works in Government Elementary School Gujran, classrooms in Government Elementary School Dallewal and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Government Elementary School Binewal.
Deputy Speaker Jai Krishan Singh Raudi said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, continuous efforts are being made in elementary, middle, high and senior secondary schools of the state to further improve the level of education. 
He said that under the ‘Punjab Education Revolution’ campaign, the image of all government schools in the state is being completely changed. Students are being motivated to get education according to their interest and ability, with which they will be able to successfully pass the competitive exams after class 12 and serve in their desired positions.
Jai Krishan Singh Raudi said that this initiative of the Punjab government is not just a scheme but a concrete step towards the bright future of the children of the state. Government schools are being developed in such a way that they do not lag behind any private schools. 
Today, government schools of Punjab are providing the same atmosphere to the students with modern facilities, quality education and trained staff, which was earlier limited to only private educational institutions. On this occasion, the village panchayat, officers of the school education department and other dignitaries were also present.
