S.A.S. Nagar, October 10 - Garbage scattered on the road outside the garbage house adjacent to the Guru Nanak Market of the local phase 1 has become a cause of great inconvenience to the common people. The traffic on this road is also affected due to this garbage scattered over a large part of the road.
Social worker leader Pushpapuri, a resident of Phase 1, said that for the last two days, garbage has been piled up to the road outside this garbage house of Phase 1. He said that the people who collect garbage from the houses also throw the garbage brought from the houses on the road outside the garbage house.
Stray animals chew on this garbage scattered on the road and spread it further. Due to this garbage scattered on the road, a heavy stench spreads due to which the motorists coming and going from here also face a lot of trouble. People coming and going on foot face more difficulties from here.
There are many shops selling food and drinks in front of this garbage house and there is always a risk of disease spread due to the filth of this garbage house flying around. They have demanded from the administration that this place should be cleaned as soon as possible so that no disease spreads.
On being contacted in this regard, Municipal Corporation Sanitary Inspector Deepak admitted that there is a garbage problem at this place and said that this problem will be resolved as soon as possible.
