Garhshanker, June 5 – Quantum Papers Limited, Saila Khurd celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm, reflecting the company’s commitment towards environmental protection. Under this year’s global theme Beat Plastic Pollution, the company organized a number of impactful activities to promote awareness, sustainability and community involvement.

The event commenced with flag hoisting by Sushil Kumar Khaitan (CEO Operations) and taking of Environment Pledge by Dipendra Kumar Dev (Head – ESG). Tree plantation was done in the factory premises with the support of senior management and tree planting team, reflecting the company’s green commitment.
Environmental quiz and innovation suggestion competition was organized for the employees. Children of employees actively participated in poster making, speech, quiz and essay writing competitions organized at KPL Club Hall. Apart from this, environment friendly transportation was promoted by celebrating No Vehicle Day.
An exhibition of paper based products as an alternative to plastic was organized under the leadership of Dipendra Kumar Dev, highlighting the importance of eco-friendly alternatives and promoting responsible consumption to reduce plastic pollution.
In the awareness program held at the Factory Club Hall, Chief Guest Mr. Sushil Kumar Khaitan (CEO - Operations) highlighted the challenge of environmental protection and plastic pollution. Dr. Sudhir Sharma (Associate Vice President) informed about the scientific and government initiatives required to protect the environment for future generations.
The prize distribution ceremony was led by the senior management which included Ajay Sharma, Parveen Goyal, Sandeep Pabha, Naveen Soni. The program concluded with a tree plantation drive at Padddi Khudi village in the presence of Mattu Ram Yadav (Head IR), Kuldeep Sharma (Planter), Gulshan Thakur (Sarpanch) and Panchayat members.
