Garhshankar- Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College Garhshankar celebrated World Environment Day by planting trees under the leadership of Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira encouraged the students to plant more and more trees and highlighted its importance for preserving the environment. 
He said that such small efforts can play a significant role in saving the earth from becoming barren. On this occasion, Prof. Kuldeep Kaur, Prof. Jatinder Kaur, Nikku Ram Mali and students were present.
