This view was expressed by MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa while motivating people to stay away from the evil of drug abuse in villages Khedi Gujran, Mukundpur, Rampur Bahl, Punsar, Jola Khurd and Rani Mazra under the Nasha Mukti Yatra.
He said that Raksha Samitis are active in every village of the constituency and we are hopeful that the Raksha Samitis will fulfill their responsibility with full dedication and honesty and will contribute to completely stopping the business of drug smugglers.
He said that it is the responsibility of all of us to make the state drug free and to fulfill this responsibility, people should take a resolution with determination and leave no stone unturned in fulfilling every resolution taken.
After this, in the presence of the village sarpanch, the villagers took a pledge to stop the sale of drugs and to make others aware about the ill effects of drugs.
