Complete ban on flying drones and bursting crackers in Una district, administration issued orders in view of public safety.

Una, May 10: Keeping in mind the current tense situation between India and Pakistan, the District Administration Una has issued strict instructions regarding public safety and law and order in the area. A complete ban has been imposed on flying drones and bursting crackers in Una district.

Una, May 10: Keeping in mind the current tense situation between India and Pakistan, the District Administration Una has issued strict instructions regarding public safety and law and order in the area. A complete ban has been imposed on flying drones and bursting crackers in Una district.
District Magistrate and Chairman of District Disaster Management Authority, Mr. Jatin Lal has issued these orders under Section 33 and 34 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
According to the orders issued, a complete ban has been imposed with immediate effect on any type of drone, unmanned aircraft (UAV), remote-controlled aircraft or drone-based photography-videography within the limits of Una district. If any institution or person needs special permission, then it will be mandatory to take prior written approval from the Deputy Commissioner.
At the same time, in view of the current sensitive security situation, a complete ban has been imposed on the use, sale and explosion of firecrackers in the district. This decision has been taken with the aim of preventing any kind of rumor, panic or misinterpretation of sounds like explosion.
These orders will come into effect with immediate effect and will remain in force till further orders. In case of violation of orders, strict action will be taken against the concerned person or organization under the Disaster Management Act, 2005 and other relevant laws.
